“We just put our 8 month old mix in boarding training program and could not be more pleased! Brendan was amazing! He was extremely professional and thorough when we went to pick up our dog. They also sent us pictures, videos, and updates while she was away. Brendan then trained *us* on how to keep up what our dog had learned. I was SHOCKED at our dog’s new behavior. She went from extremely high energy - jumping, chewing, barking, pulling on the leash, etc. to a dog that understands and respects boundaries. She sits in place until released, walks next to our side without any struggle, no jumping, just amazing! I would recommend True Canine Training and Brendan to anyone! “My 8 month old Shepard enrolled into the board and train. I am so impressed with his newly learned manners and skills! His trainer Ben was wonderful from the beginning to the end. He answered any and all questions I had before leaving him, helped me feel comfortable with my decision to do the training. “When we signed Jolene “Jo Jo” up we had an unruly pup who ran our house. She wasn’t confident, didn’t know boundaries, and definitely did not listen to us at all. We researched many different facilities but based on our over the phone interactions with Ben, we decided to give True Canine a go. He communicated with us very well and was quick to respond and give us an update when we texted or called. We just got her back and we see a completely different dog. For the first time, we feel like we have control over her and situations we may be put into.

*Update 1: We have had Jolene home for 1 week and 2 days. She definitely understands boundaries and is very respectful of them. We have texted Ben twice now with questions and he responds almost immediately with great advice!! Jolene knows how to walk on a leash properly and tends to be closer to us now through our training bond. She goes to her place when we tell her to and comes when called. She also sits for attention instead of jumping at or hitting us. So far we think this training program was totally with it! We highly recommend the board and train.
*Update 2: We are three weeks post training. Jo Jo is listening well and has achieved following the rules. She is great on a leash and will stay in her place command as long as needed. When she wants attention she will come and sit in front of us (unless on the couch). She is playing a lot better and more controlled with our 2 year old and is doing wonderful!”
